Who we are

The Knots Studio, a unit of Ekam Ventures, is a curated gifting studio based in Bengaluru, India ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we handle it.

What we collect

• Corporate enquiry form: your name, company, email address, the occasion, approximate quantity, and any details you choose to share.
• Newsletter signup: your email address.
• Direct contact: if you reach us by email, WhatsApp, Instagram, or LinkedIn, we receive whatever you choose to send us on those channels.

This website has no user accounts and takes no payments, so we never collect passwords or payment card details here.

How we use it

We use enquiry details to respond to you, prepare proposals, and deliver our services. We use newsletter email addresses only to send occasional updates about new collections, gifting ideas, and studio news. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How it is processed and stored

Form submissions are relayed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form service, and delivered to our email inbox, which is hosted by Google. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall site traffic; it is cookie-free and does not track or profile individual visitors. This website does not set tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting obligations. We keep newsletter email addresses until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw consent for the newsletter. Write to us at the contact below and we will act on your request. These rights are consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Unsubscribing

To stop receiving the newsletter, reply to any of our emails with the word "Unsubscribe" or write to us directly, and we will remove you promptly.

Children

This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a revised date.
